Can I resell space from my own domain?
Not only can you, we recommend it. Every site we setup looks like a full domain. Your customers have no way of knowing their domain is actually a chunk of yours. Since its cheaper than buying full domains, it makes good business sense.

Can I split my domain into any size blocks?
Yes, in the WebHost Manager you are able to set the space amounts any new domain order. If you or your client decides later to change the amount of storage space allocated, just login to the WHM and change the space requirement.

When I split my space what will my resold accounts look like?
Every domain that is split from your main site is setup in exactly the same fashion as your main site. The online control panel you see when you login to your site administration area is the same as any resold domains. Each domain setup on the server is setup as a real domain. There are no differences between your online control and your resold domains online control panel.

Are there any drawbacks to splitting my domain space?
Each split domain has all the same features as a full domain except anonymous FTP. Anonymous FTP is rarely used by a web site owner due to the simplicity of transferring files via the http protocol. The only other drawback pertains to frontpage users. I order to publish a web site using Microsoft Frontpage the new domain name must resolve, this is a limitation of Frontpage and does not affect any FTP programs.

Can I add more space to my domain? If so, what is the cost?
Additional storage space may be purchased. For the most current price see the add-on order form or contact the sales department.

Do the sites I resell as blocks include the same features as full domains?
Your resold sites include unlimited email, mailing lists, etc. The only item that cannot be setup with resold blocks is anonymous FTP which is rarely used by the average web site and requires it's own ip number. We can however remove anonymous FTP from your domain and add it to one domain, if you do not intend to use it for your own domain.

Can I resell to resellers with all the same features?
Yes, you can sell space to your resellers, however we recommend that you setup your resellers with a full domain.

This all sounds too good, what's the catch? Are there any hidden cost?
There is no catch and there are no hidden cost.

What if I need additional bandwidth? How much does this cost?
Usually bandwidth is not a problem. Less then 1 percent of the sites we currently host come close to their bandwidth allotments. The average site transfers less than 200 MB per month. However, resellers do have the possibility of exceeding their allotments when they split domains into many portions. If you should need additional bandwidth, we will notify you before your allotment is reached. You will then have the opportunity to decide what to do. Additional bandwidth can be purchased in 1 GB increments. Contact the sales department for the most current pricing.
